"So yesterday was one of the coolest things to be a part of. Context…I don’t do a lot of animation…when I do it’s either a writer I know brings me in or my daughter & I build an animated pilot:) I like it, I’m a good actor, I’ve one some stuff and I get shots. As a teacher I’m an improvisation for VO & On Camera commercial teacher & acting coach so getting to observe a Director/Teacher with such a wonderful style, gentle yet straightforward honesty, self deprecating/disarming manner and such  entertaining performance abilities was really quite…magical I think is the best way to put it. Watching Disney's Kristin Paiva get the very best out of every actor at ALL skill levels was just so cool! Seeing people I have coached, my friend's, my daughter & people I just met learn, laugh, adapt and thrive was just the coolest! I was going to do 30 minutes on finding and building characters through Imrov, which is very valuable and I think I’m good at teaching this but I cut my time to 10 minute's of sharing techniques and important things involved in character development through the improv process so everyone could work with and listen to Kristin MORE! If you know me…you know I don’t give up stage time:) Kristin was just so hilarious, really down to earth and just so damn good at her job, all the while having the quietest 8 week old baby I’ve ever met present! Kudos to J. Michael Collins for having such a phenomenal teacher teaching under his banner AND for being the “Baby Whisperer”! If you ever have the chance to work with Kristin…DO IT! Scape…borrow…lie…steal or cheat but get your spot as I believe they are extremely valuable to any actor who wants to work in animation. Congrats on a phenomenal class to Kayla Renee Jackson, JD Kaye, Vanessa Smith Richardson, Miranda Parkin and their classmates I just met who all took full advantage of this phenomenal teacher and what she had to say. This concludes this unsolicited testimonial."
